What You'll Need
In order to make the most of this course, there are a few items you'll need to have on hand.
Computer
First and foremost, you'll need a computer that is capable of running music production software.
While a Chromebook, phone, or tablet may be convenient for other tasks, they won't have the processing power or features necessary for music production.
Ableton Live
Next, you'll need a copy of Ableton Live.
This powerful music production software is available in a free trial version (90 days, fully featured), as well as an Intro or Lite version that offer more features. You can choose the version that works best for your needs and budget.
There are several great pieces of gear that come with Ableton Live Lite, which is where I recommend you start if you've already used up your free trial.
